Camp Counseors are adults responsible for facilitating the day-to-day rotations and overall well being for their group. They set the tone for each day, and help support the teaching artists in their objectives. Will be asked to play games, lead small activities, handle minor behavioral issues, and help rehearse show materials when teaching artists are not present. Camp Counselors are our every day superheroes!

$18/hour, full and part time available

Teaching Artists are the adult artists who make up the creative team of each show. This includes directors, choreographers, and music directors. Artists do not need to attend a full camp day and will be scheduled to teach around their availability. Must be comfortable in their respective discipline and have a passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of artists.

$25/hour

Do you have a niche theatrical skill and ar interested in teaching! Specialty workshops are perfect for you. Scheduled several times a week, these 60-90 minute long workshops are intended to broaden our students’ understanding and expose them to skills and art forms they might not otherwise see! From pantomime to tap dance, Shakespeare to stage combat, and sound design to costume design, we want to offer specialty workshops of all kinds.

$35/class

This position is ideal for theatre students who are passionate about the arts and are ready to step into leadership roles. These students will help support the work of our Camp Counselors and Teaching Artists. You will help model desired behavior in the rehearsal process, assist in facilitating activities, warm ups, and rehearsal objectives, and be leaders in the room! Opportunities to shadow Teaching Artists in a specific area will be provided around the students’ interest.

$16/hr, Full & Part-time OR Tuition Trade for Summer Conservatory or future programs

We are always looking for volunteers to make our camps and productions happen! From backstage or box office help to Before & After Care to costuming, scenic construction and more - ATY can use your help!

All you need is a positive attitude and a willingness to help. No prior theatre experience is necessary. However, if you have any special skills or interests you would like to share, whether theatre specific or not, please let us know!

Volunteers are generally 16+, but younger volunteers are welcome in some positions if accompanied by an adult! Must submit to a backgroud check.

Tech Crew is made up of adult designers and technicians who help make our shows beautiful! We are always seeking:

• Lighting Designers

• Costume Designers

• Scenic Designers, Builders, & Painters

• Props Designes

• Sound Designers

• Stage Managers

• Board Operators

• Back Stage Crew

Contracted designers are paid a stipend for each show, and would be offered first choice of teaching specialty workshops in their area of design if interested. All skill levels welcome!
